Settings in Google Forms

What are the different settings in Google Forms? 

Answer

If you click on the settings at the top of the screen, it drop down a new window that allows you to:

  • Make this a quiz and to select that you would like to select that option you would select the circle to the right and it will turn a different color and slide to the right. 
  • Responses section will allow you to manage how responses are collected and protected. If the options are not showing up you can select the drop down arrow to the right and the options should appear. 
    • Under Responses you can select if you want to require a sign in. 
  •  Presentation section will allow you to manage how the form responses are presented. 
    • Form a presentation is where you can turn on either show progress bar and/or shuffle question order
    • You are also able to manage how you would like the participants to see results under after submission 
    • You can also disable autosave for all respondents under restrictions
    • Defaults section allows you to select Form defaults and Question defaults
      • Select the arrow to the right of Form default and it will give you the option to select whether or not you want to collect email addresses by default. 
      • Select the arrow to the right of Question defaults and it will give you the option to select the settings applied to all new questions by making the questions required by default.
