Unable to Access Calendar in Desire2Learn(D2L)

Issue/Question

I can not access my Calendar in D2L

My Course Calendar is not displaying

Im getting an error accessing my calendar

Error: you are not authorized to access this page

Environment

• Desire2Learn(D2L)
• Course Calendar

Cause

There is an error with one of the calendars being displayed when accessing the Calendar from the D2L homepage only, calendars displayed through the individual course homepage should still work

Resolution

1. Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
   1. Description of issue
   2. Error message
2. To add your D2L calendar to an external calendar
   1. On D2L home page next to Calendar click 
   2. Click Go to Calendar
   3. Click Subscribe
   4. Copy the URL shown into any external calendar application to subscribe to events for the selected calendar(s).
      • Steps for Outlook
        1. Go to the Calendar icon in Outlook (bottom left corner of page)
        2. Go to Folder at the top navigation bar
        3. Go to Add Calendar
        4. Paste this link under From Internet:

Note: This issue typically occurs when accessing the calendar from the D2L homepage, to access your calendar(s) until the issue is fixed, you can access each course calendar individually by first navigating to the course's homepage in D2L and clicking the calendar link there.
