Outlook closing when sending or deleting emails
Outlook will not send items. I also cannot delete anything
Outlook opens two windows
Trying to add Zoom meeting in Outlook opens a blank web page
Errors have been detected in the file C:\users\first.last\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\First.Last@usd.edu.ost.
Environment
- Outlook 2013
- Outlook 2016
- Outlook 365
Resolution
- If able to open Outlook, try signing out of your Office account and then sign in again:
- Click File
- Click Office Account
- Click Sign out
- Click Sign out
- Click Sign in and enter USD credentials
- Reboot the computer
- Uninstall Office and install the latest version of Office 365
- Delete Outlook .ost data file
- Close Outlook
- Open File Explorer
- Paste %localappdata%\Microsoft\outlook into the Address Bar
- Press Enter
- Find the .ost file that the error message reported, and delete it
- Start Outlook
- Recreate Outlook Profile
