Keep OneDrive Files on Computer

Issue/Question

How do I keep my OneDrive files on my computer?

I am going somewhere without an Internet connection and need to have access to my OneDrive files.

  • OneDrive
  • Windows
  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Students

Resolution

  1. Open OneDrive folder
  2. Right-click folder needed even without Internet access
  3. Select Always keep on this device
    Note: 
    OneDrive will download files to your computer as you access them. If you have an Internet connection, it is recommended you do not download all your files
