Computer not Booting

  • Error:  HDD is failing and to back up data immediately
  • Error: Storage device not detected
  • Windows loading screen appears but fails to load

  • Error: Non-System disk or disk error
  • SMART Hard Disk Error

Cause

Hard drive failed

Resolution

  1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Computer NIxxxxx tag number
    2. Error message or description of problem
    3. Building and room number
