Scanning from Copier to Email using Coyote Card

Issue/Question

When I swipe my card to scan it says insufficient funds and won't let me scan documents

I cannot scan a document on the Library copier

Error: Insufficient funds and could not continue

Environment

  • Coyote Card
  • Multi-Function Copiers (MFC)

Resolution​​​​

Note: Scanning can be done even with a zero balance

  1. Swipe Coyote Card and it will display the balance
    Note: If there are insufficient funds, please follow the steps below to scan
  2. Press the yellow function button and then immediately press the home button
  3. On the main screen press the Scan icon
  4. Press the e-mail icon
  5. Press the touchpad icon
  6. Start typing in the email address to scan to​​​​​​
