Linking Department Email to Zoom

Issue/Question

I have a new department email that has been created and assigned to me that I am trying to link to Zoom

Environment

• Zoom

Cause

If you have a department or organizational shared email that you share with others - it is not an actual email account that you can log into

Shared email accounts do not work with Zoom

Resolution

1. Shared email accounts cannot be used to log into Zoom because there is no password associated with the account
