Problems Creating Groups in D2L

Issue/Question

I get an error message when I try to create groups in D2L

Error: Internal Error.  There was an error processing the page you requested

Environment

  • Desire2Learn (D2L)

Cause

Group Prefix field is too long

Resolution

  • The Group Prefix field will auto populate when you select a Restrict Enrollments option
  • Change the Group Prefix to something shorter (ie. BADM 100)
