OneDrive Files Are Not Syncing in Windows

Onedrive files not showing up on computer

Onedrive will not sync

Autosave with Onedrive is not staying on

Only an older version of a document exists

Environment

  • Onedrive
  • Windows OS

Cause

Multiple causes

Resolution

  1. File path character count cannot exceed 200 characters
  2. Let files sync on both computers
  3. Run the OneDrive client
  4. Type the USD email address
  5. Click Sign in
  6. Type USD password
  7. Click Sign in
  8. Click Next
  9. Click the arrows through to the end
  10. If you still are experiencing issues, please contact the Service Desk if you need further assistance, providing the following information

    3. Computer NI tag number
