Requesting Duo Exemption for Smart Classroom

Issue/Question

Would it be possible to disable the duo authentication requests for my account on a classroom computer?

Environment

  • Smart Classroom Computer
  • Duo

Cause

Duo request disrupts class when I have to go and get my phone.

Resolution

  1. Classroom computers are exempt from Duo requests
  2. If you are prompted to authenticate via Duo in a classroom please contact the Service Desk with the following information so we can resolve the issue: 
    1. Building and Room Number where you are receiving the prompt
