Note: If the laptop is almost completely charged, the docking station may be designed to work that way to prevent damage to the battery

1. Try holding power button down for 30-60 seconds 
2. Try a different power outlet
3. Try a known good power adapter
4. Try removing the battery
5. Lenovo X1 Carbon, X1 Yoga, or T14 - Perform a hard reset
   1. Turn laptop off
   2. Remove the power adapter
   3. Locate the small Reset hole on the bottom of the laptop
   4. Use a paperclip to press the Reset Button for 5 seconds
   5. Plug power adapter in
   6. Turn system on
6. HP and Lenovo laptop - Perform a hard reset
   1. Turn laptop off
   2. Disconnect the power adapter
   3. Press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds
   4. Reconnect power adapter
   5. Turn system on

7. Update operating system and drivers
8. Apple - Restart
   1. Hold down power button for 15 seconds
9. Contact the Service Desk for further assistance
