Unable to Access Email on Mac After Configuring Duo

Issue/Question

I recently set up Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) how do I set up my mail app on my Mac OS laptop so that it works properly with the new duo authentication so I can get my emails in my Mail

Environment

Duo MFA
USD Email
MAC

Cause

When Duo Mobile was activated, older applications using Basic Authentication no longer work. Microsoft email requires Modern Authentication to use MFA.

Resolution

Note: Outlook is the only supported method for syncing email
