Checking VoIP Voicemail From An Alternate Phone

Issue/Question

Checking voicemail from a phone other than my desk phone

Environment

• Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
• Voicemail

Cause

VoIP desk phone is not available

Resolution

1. Call your desk phone and let it ring to voicemail
2. During the greeting, press the star () button
3. You should hear Enter your ID followed by pound
4. Enter your 7 digit VoIP phone number (example: 658-6000)
5. Press #
6. You should hear Enter your PIN followed by pound
7. Enter your Voicemail PIN
8. Press #
