Student Unable to Print to Pharos Printers

Issue/Question

I am unable to print.  

Error: Insufficient funds

Error: Please swipe your USD ID

Pharos print option does not popup on the lab computers

Environment

  • Pharos

Cause

Multiple Causes

Resolution

  1. Check your Pharos/Coyote card balance Coyote Card Online 
    1. If you have funds available, proceed to step 5
    2. View USD Pharos Debit
    3. Click Sign In
    4. Click Add Coyote Card Funds Here!
  2. Swipe your ID on the Multifunction Copier card swipe and try printing again
  3. If using a computer in one of the campus labs
    1. Reboot the computer
    2. Test on another lab computer
  4. On your personal device
    • Cannot print while on SDVisitor wireless network so connect to Eduroam
    • Uninstall Pharos
    • Reinstall Pharos
  5. Stop by the Service Desk with your ID
