Removing a Phone Number from Cisco VoIP Phone

Issue/Question

User is requesting an existing phone number be removed as a second line on their Cisco phone

I need a second phone number removed from this phone

I would like to get our main office line taken off my extension. My work space has been moved out from the front desk area so I no longer need to have the main office line ringing on my phone.

Environment

  • Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)

Resolution

  1. If is is an additional line please
    1.  Open VoIP Phone Portal
    2. Below Additional Phones find the number you want to remove
      1. Click 
      2. Click Delete
  2. Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. The Name on the phone
    2. The Phone Number that should be removed from the phone
