Problems During a DDN Video Conference

Issue/Question

Our Dakota Digital Network (DDN) video conference disconnected during our meeting and is not reconnecting

We are not able to see the instructor from the other site

Environment

Cause

Multiple causes

Resolution

  1. Restart the videoconference in the room
    1. Touch End Class on the Crestron touch panel
    2. Touch Yes to confirm
    3. Touch the screen again to bring up the mode menu
    4. Touch Video Conference to restart
  2. If the meeting does not reconnect after restarting, please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Building and room number
    2. DDN reservation number
    3. What other sites are in the meeting
