How can I add Microsoft Teams on the Computer?
Environment
- Windows OS
- macOS
- Office 365
Cause
Office 365 Pro Plus gives access to the most recent versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other titles depending on platform. Under this program, current Faculty, Staff and Students may install the software on up to five devices/computers.
These are full desktop applications, not web or cloud apps. The software will remain active and usable for as long as you are current Faculty, Staff, or Student. Based on Microsoft’s licensing requirements, it's not offered to past students who have graduated or leave USD.
Resolution
Student Instructions
- Go to Office365.com
- Enter your USD email address
- Click Enter your password
- Click School or Work Account
- Click Teams
- If it's not in the list click Explorer all your apps
Faculty/Staff Instructions
- Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app
- Click Download Microsoft Teams for Windows
- Open the downloaded file
- Enter your USD email address
- Enter your password
