Issue/Question
I cannot view the D2L course material correctly but when I download the Word document it works
Error: We experienced an error trying to open the file
Environment
- Desire2Learn(D2L)
- Microsoft Word
Cause
The browser may display the Word document differently than intended
Resolution
There are 3 possible solutions
- Download the Word document to view the attachment
- Use another browser to view the assignment
- Publish the document as a .PDF file rather than Word
