Can Not Sign in to Pillar 3

Issue/Question

The student is part of the medical program and is unable to sign in to Pillar 3 (student) scheduling to make changes to his schedule. 

New employee is not able to sign into Pillar 3 (admin)

Cause

 

Resolution

  1. Pillar 3 uses your USD credentials to sign in
  2. To reset your USD credentials see Resetting USD Account password
  3. Contact your Pillar 3 administrator to verify your permissions are set correctly

Pillar 3 Admins Only

  1. Go to Groups Management
  2. Click Medical Student Affairs Admin
  3. Fill out the Search
  4. Click the Add Member Icon 
  5. Go to Medical Student Affairs application
  6. Hover over Manage
  7. Hover over Security
  8. Click Users
  9. Click New User 
  10. Enter USD Email Address
  11. Click Submit
  12. Click New Role
  13. Select Role
  14. Click Submit
  15. For Department or Campus Level access - click appropriate pencil
  16. Click Yes
  17. Click Campus or Department tab
  18. Click New Campus or Department
  19. Select appropriate option(s)
  20. Click Submit
