How do I start a 3-way conference call

Environment

• Cisco VOIP (voice over internet protocol) 8851

Cause

Need to add a 3rd person to the call

Resolution

1. During an active call, press the soft key on the phone display screen
2. Press the Conference soft key
3. Active call will be placed on hold and a second line will be activated with dial tone
4. Dial the second person's phone number
5. Once the second person answers, press the Conference soft key again
6. All 3 people will now be on a conference call
