Can't Access Subfolder on Network Drive

Issue/Question

Having consistent problems accessing a particular folder on the server

The Business School MBA Access Database will not work when on wireless but it will when connected to ethernet

Environment

  • Windows 10
  • Network drive

Resolution

Reboot computer.  If the issue persists, please follow steps below

Check Work Online Status

  1. Click the network drive on lefthand side
  2. Click Work online at top menu

If the above steps do not correct the issue please contact the Service Desk with the following information:

  1. Network path to the subfolder

    Note: If this is for a student worker on a laptop the Bypass Role of staff - USD Staff will need to be set in PacketFence
