Copier Cannot Connect to Server

Issue/Question

When I tried to use the copier it does not work

Error: cannot connect to server

Error: Unable to Connect to Server, Contact Administrator

Environment

  • Multifunction Copier
  • Scanner

Resolution

  1. Verify the card reader itself is on
    Note:  A light may be showing on the device even if it is not on
    1. To power on, click and hold the front button until you hear a positive chime and green light
    2. Test again
  2. Restart copier
  3. Report the issue to Access Systems
    1. Scan the QR Code on the device or browse to Access Systems Print Support
    2. Enter the tag number/equipment ID
      Note: Can be found on the silver Access Systems sticker on the device, or in article Multifunction Copier Locations
    3. Click Next
    4. Enter your Name and Phone number 
    5. Click Next
    6. Enter address & room number where the device is located
    7. Click Next
    8. Select I need to place a Service Call
    9. Click Next
    10. Select the issue you are having
      Note: If other is selected, type in the issue
    11. Click Next
  4. You will receive a confirmation email from Access Systems that your issue was logged
