Microsoft Team does not appear in SharePoint

Issue/Question

When I created the Team in Microsoft Teams, it’s not showing up in Sharepoint as well.

Environment

  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft SharePoint

Cause

When a Microsoft Team does not immediately appear in SharePoint, it may take up to 24 hours to sync

Resolution

  1. Wait 24 hours
  2. If you are the owner, or use the Open in SharePoint option
    1. Go to the channel
    2. Click the Shared tab
    3. In the menu bar click select Open in SharePoint
