Requesting Administrative Rights On A USD Owned Apple Computer

Issue/Question

I need administrative rights on the equipment checkout Macbook

Environment

  • Equipment Checkout
  • Cheqroom
  • MacOS

Cause

User account does not have administrative rights

Resolution

  1. Open Launchpad
  2. Open USD ITS Self Service
  3. Click Make Me An Admin
  4. Click Make me an admin, please

You will now have administrative rights for 15 minutes
