Another user is signed into this laptop

Can't enter my user name into checkout laptop

Screen locked

Environment

• Windows
• MacOS
• USD Checkout Laptop

Resolution

1. Hold down power button for 20 seconds
2. Turn system back on
3. Sign in
   1. For Windows computers, log in with your USD username and password
      Note: This must be first be done on campus while connected to the USD network before taking it off campus
   2. For Apple computers, log in with the username and password created for you during checkout
   3. If off campus, contact the Service Desk for the guest username and password
