To ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our email system, we are implementing sending limits for emails.  The limit of, 250 recipients/hour or 750 recipients/day, is designed to support your communication needs while protecting the email ecosystem.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our email system secure and efficient.

Here’s why this change is essential:

• Preventing Spam and Abuse: Setting limits helps protect our domain reputation by reducing the risk of unauthorized use or accidental spam-like activity.  This prevents USD email from being blocked by services like GMAIL.
• Ensuring Deliverability: High email volumes can trigger spam filters, causing delays or rejections. Limits help maintain efficient and successful email delivery.
• Enhancing Security: Restricting large-scale email sends minimizes exposure to phishing attacks and misuse of accounts if they are compromised.
• Fair Resource Use: Limits ensure equitable access to resources, preventing email system slowdowns for everyone.
