How do I manually raise a progress report or alert for a student?

Environment

Resolution

  1. From the Coyote Connections home page, click the black triangle and select Professor Home
  2. Locate the student in the list of students enrolled in your classes
  3. Select the checkbox next to the student's name
  4. Click the Actions dropdown menu and select Issue an Alert
  5. Select one or more alert reasons from the alert window
  6. Select the course section associated with the alert
  7. Enter comments describing the concern
  8. Click Submit

Note: When an alert is submitted, the student's academic advisor receives notification of the concern and is expected to contact the student. The student also receives an email regarding the alert and contact information for the faculty member and academic advisor.
