Accessing Barnes and Noble eBooks

Issue/Question

How do I access the digital books that I bought before May 2019 with the Barnes and Noble bookstore? 

Environment

• Yuzu Barnes & Noble

Cause

The University of South Dakota has a new online bookstore provider

Resolution

1. EBooks bought from Barnes & Noble that are not in your Vitalsource library in D2L can be accessed online at  www.yuzu.com 
2. When signing in, use the email address and password that was used when your eBook was purchased
3. If the password needs to be reset, please use the reset password option located on the login page
4. A link will be sent to your email address
   Note: to access your eBook offline, the Yuzu reader app will need to be downloaded to a mobile device such as a tablet or smartphone, the app is available for free in both the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android), the ability to download the book directly to your computer is currently not available
