We have a greeting for our mainline and it needs to be changed
Environment
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
Voicemail
Greeting Administration
Resolution
Make sure you are listed as a Greeting Administrator for the line
If you are not, have the department chair request permissions for you by
contacting the Service Desk
Make sure you know your personal extension's voicemail pin
If you need to reset your PIN
Resetting Phone Voicemail PIN
From a VoIP phone dial the Greeting Administrator number
USD Main Campus: 1002018
CCSF: 1002016
You will hear
Enter your ID followed by pound
Enter
your personal
phone number
followed by # (example: 658-9876-#)
You will hear
Enter your PIN followed by pound
Enter
your personal voicemail PIN
followed by pound (example: 12345-#)
You will hear
Enter the extension of the call handler, followed by pound
Enter
the main line phone number
followed by # (example: 658-6000-#)
You should now be able to change the greeting (Option 2 changes the Standard Greeting)
