Requesting Banner Student Access

Issue/Question

We need to give a user access to Banner Student

Need access to screen/ form/ table in Banner

Need their Banner ID reset for Student or Financial Aid access

Environment

  • Banner Student
  • Banner Student Financial Aid

Resolution

  1. Please submit the request online in Coyote One Stop

Note You may NOT request Banner access for yourself - Only a Supervisor or designee may submit a request

Note: Faculty/Advisor SELF-SERVICE access is set up based on their assignment to Faculty and/or Advisor role - no Banner Access request needed

Note:  Access requests are passed to functional area data stakeholders for approval before security groups are assigned to users

Note: DegreeWorks access requires a check mark on the Banner Access request form.

Note:  Users who need a Banner ID for access to Student and/or Financial Aid should have their Supervisor/Director submit the request to the Service Desk
