Overview
The USD Delta Dental Oral Health Center provides both dental hygiene and limited dental services to the public. Services are delivered by dental hygiene students under faculty supervision and by licensed dental professionals affiliated with the University of South Dakota. The clinic serves as a teaching facility while providing quality oral health care to the community.

- Clinics services are available only when classes are in session and may be limited during university breaks, holidays, and examination periods.

We adhere to the following clinical admission policies and would be happy to discuss any of these procedures with you. Please ask.
- We will not deny admission to the program or access to dental hygiene services to any individual based on the presence of any bloodborne infectious disease.
- For the protection of our patients, we adhere to infection control procedures known as standard precautions. All patients are treated equally. We sterilize all our instruments and use disposable products whenever possible.
- We follow all Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for health care facilities.
