Slido Error Message

Issue/Question

I’m trying to use Slido in PowerPoint, but I keep getting the error message: Update required  To keep using Slido in PowerPoint, please update the Slido app via slido.com/powerpoint.  If you need help, reach out to your internal IT administrator.

Environment

  • macOS
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Slido

Cause

This issue may arise due to a variety of factors

Resolution

  1. Close Slido if open
  2. Press Shift+Command+A keys
  3. Click Slido
  4. Drag to Trash Can
  5. Follow Adding Slido to PowerPoint
