How do I remove a printer from my computer?
Environment
- Papercut
- Printer
- Pharos
- Personal Computer
Cause
USD has transitioned to Papercut / Mobility Print from Pharos. Removing the old printers will help reduce confusion and duplicates when going to print
Resolution
Windows:
- Type Settings into the Windows search bar and press Enter
- Click Bluetooth & Devices
- Click Printers & scanners
- Click Selected Printer to be removed
- Click Remove , located at the right side of the printer name selected
Mac OS:
- Open System Settings (or System Preferences)
- Access Printers & Scanners
- Select the Printer
- Remove the Printer
- Confirm Deletion
