Removing Printers From Personal Computer

Issue/Question

How do I remove a printer from my computer? 

Environment

• Papercut
• Printer
• Pharos
• Personal Computer

Cause

USD has transitioned to Papercut / Mobility Print from Pharos.  Removing the old printers will help reduce confusion and duplicates when going to print

Resolution

Windows: 

1. Type Settings into the Windows search bar and press Enter
2. Click Bluetooth & Devices
3. Click Printers & scanners
4. Click Selected Printer to be removed
5. Click Remove , located at the right side of the printer name selected

Mac OS:

1. Open System Settings (or System Preferences)
2. Access Printers & Scanners
3. Select the Printer
4. Remove the Printer
5. Confirm Deletion
