Issue/Question

Error encountered while running room or meal import process in Banner

Error - ORA-29283: invalid file operation

Environment

  • Banner SZPRIMP or SZPMIMP Room or Meal Import process

Cause

ORA-29283 is a general error, but usually indicates a lack of permission on either the directory or the file itself, or the file is missing

Resolution

  1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. The name of the process you are executing  (SZPRIMP or SZPMIMP)
    2. The environment you are executing in (PROD or TEST)
    3. The EXACT verbiage of the error message you are receiving in the log output on GJIREVO
