Resolving Laundry Reader Errors

Issue/Question

I see an error on a laundry reader device in Kiosoft Washboard.  What do I do next?

Environment

• Kiosoft Washboard App
• Payrange
• USD Laundry Rooms

Resolution

1. Check Laundry Machine Status in KioSoft Washboard for error
2. If error due to WiFi Signal Strength
   1. Check for error codes on laundry reader
      1. Error:  Network Error E007 - unplugging machine removes error
   2. Check Wireless Access Point is working
3. Error code 000000 NOTREP or similar
   1. Machine is not responding.  Contact Housing to submit a machine repair request
4. Error code upgrading firmware to failed to ER35
   1.  Contact FM to disconnect and then reconnect power to appliance
5. Error No Water Flow Error
   1. Contact FM to check water flow
   2. Housing may need to submit a machine repair request
6. Kiosoft Reader Error: No response from machine
   1. Check for power to device 
      1. Housing enter work order to FM  to check outlet
      2. Housing submit a machine repair request
7. Error: Overflow Error ID 000400
   1. Contact FM to check water flow
   2. Housing may need to submit a machine repair request
8. Error: Drain Error ID 001000
   1. Contact FM to check water flow
   2. Housing may need to submit a machine repair request
9. Setup Mode use KLM
   1. Contact Service Desk to re-program reader
   2. May need to work with FM to replace device
10. KioSoft Card Reader error Payment Type Not Supported
    1. ​​​​​​​Contact Service Desk to re-program reader
11. Error Card Read Failed
    1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Contact Service Desk to re-program reader, please specify what payment type is failing
