Google Access Request for Sponsored Accounts and Med Clinical Faculty

Issue/Question

How do I request access to Google Workspace if my account does not have access?

Error: Google Workspace - This account has been disabled

Environment

• Google Workspace
• RapidIdentity (RI)
• Sponsored Accounts
• Med Clinical Faculty
• South Dakota Services for the Deaf (SDSD)

Cause

The user account in question does not receive the Google Workspace entitlement by default

Resolution

1. Log in to identity.usd.edu
   Note: if you have never set your password in identity.usd.edu follow these instructions
2. Click the Dashboard drop down and select Requests
   Note: only Med Clinical Faculty and Sponsored accounts have access to this view
3. Click Catalog in the left hand column
4. Sponsored Google Account
5. Click Request at the bottom of the page
6. Click Request again to verify
   Note: comments are optional
7. Wait 24 hours and the new Google Account will be provisioned
