Requesting a Loft

How do I request a loft for my bed?

Answer

  1. In traditional dorms, students must fill out the loft request form in order to request a loft for their bed. This form is found in the student's Housing Portal. 
    • Note: Coyote Village, McFadden Hall, and Richardson Hall are not eligible for loft requests. Richardson Hall has recently been renovated to include self-lofting beds.
  2. Click the Loft Request button
  3. Click Request Loft button for the appropriate academic year
  4. Read through the presented information and type I Agree when prompted
  5. Sign in agreement by typing the student's first and last name in the appropriate box
    • Note: A $58 charge will be added to the student's account at the beginning of each semester that the loft is in use.
  6. Click Request Loft
    • Note: The loft will be set up in the student's room prior to move-in if it is requested by the designated priority date in the summer. Assembly of lofts requested after to priority date will be the responsibility of the student. For instructions on how to assemble your loft, please refer to this video.
