Audio and Video Issues in Classroom

Issue/Question

No sound from Mac when laptop is set as main system sound from an advanced presentation setting

I am experiencing difficulty getting my Mac Power Book to display through the projection unit

Audio and technology not working in the room computer
 
When trying to play a video on a MacBook using the HDMI cable, there is no sound through the room speakers
 
No video or colored video displaying on the projector or TV displays

Resolution

Note: Some video played from Youtube, Amazon prime or Netflix will not work in the room because of Digital Rights Management

  1. When using an HDMI cable, verify that the laptops audio outoput or speakers are set to the HDMI or Crestron output
  2. Re-seat the HDMI end to the laptop and wait for a few seconds and repeat a second time 
  3. Verify that the laptop audio is not muted
  4. Verify that the Volume is not muted on the touch panel or XPanel
    1. Note: In some rooms if the video display is Muted on the XPanel or touch panel the sound will not work
