Unable to Access Pearson Site for BIOL151

Question

I am on the Pearson site and cannot find the pop-up to redeem the code for BIOL151

Answer

Note: these instructions are specific to BIOL151

1. The site must be accessed via the link in D2L
2. The Course Code is not used for access
3. Make sure pop-ups are not being blocked
4. Restart your browser if you had to change the pop-up setting
5. Finding the Pearson redemption code in the elibrary
   1. In the online bookstore eLibrary 
      1. Go to USD's Online Bookstore 
      2. Sign in with your USD credentials
      3. In the upper right-hand corner, click on your name 
      4. Select eLibrary 
6. Click the access redemption link for your materials
   Note: this will take you to VitalSource which is where the materials are stored
7. Login to VitalSource (create an account if you do not have one using your coyotes email)
8. The book will be shown and next to it is a small informational bubble
9. Click the informational bubble next to the book
10. Select Courseware
11. Copy access code
12. In D2L select Content at the top of the page
13. Scroll down to Pearson access at bottom left
14. Click on Pearson LTI 1.3
15. Open My Lab & Mastering
16. Push access code button which takes you to Pearson site
17. Input access code copied from VitalSource reveal code in #10
18. Now you should have access
