Software Install Asking for Administrator Account Credentials

Issue/Question

I could not install a software without admin account and password

Environment

• Windows 10
• MacOS

Cause

Computer prompts for admin username and password

Resolution

1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
   1. Name of Software
   2. NI tag of computer
   3. Location
   4. Purpose of use
