Adding automatic captions from Youtube in Panopto

Question

How do I add automatic captions from Youtube in Panopto?

Answer

1.  Login to Youtube
2.  Click on the Camera Button in the upper right-hand corner, then select Upload Video
3. Click on Select files to upload, navigate to the video saved on your computer
4.  Once video is selected, click Open
5.  The video will automatically begin to process
6.  Once the video has finished processing, add a title, description, and choose the audience type. Then select Next
7. Add video elements if needed, then select Next
8.  Next in the Visibility section, select Private
9. Select Save
10. Enter YouTube Studio by selecting your profile then YouTube Studio
11. Scroll down on the dashboard on the left-hand side of the screen, and select Subtitles
12. Select the drop-down next to language for the desired video
13. Hover over Published (Automatic) and select the three dots that appear.
14. Select Download, it is likely that the .sbv file will be saved into your Downloads folder
