Panopto Screen capture on a Mac

Question

How do I screen capture on Panopto via Mac?

Answer

  1. Under Secondary Sources, make sure the Secondary 1 tab is blue by clicking on it
  2.  At the bottom of the screen, change the Source to Built-In Display
    1. If you would also like to record yourself, select your webcam as the Video under Primary Source
    2. Also, make sure the Audio Source is set to a microphone
  3. When you are ready to record, hit the Record button in the upper left-hand corner
    1. You will need to minimize the Panopto Recorder to make sure it is not in the recording
  4. 4. Once you are done recording, navigate back to Panopto and click Stop in the upper left-hand corner
