Accessing Google Documents in D2L

Issue/Question

Logging in to Google Docs through D2L

SDSU students who need to have access to the University of South Dakota Google documents

Environment

• D2L
• Google Docs

Cause

Logging into D2L with another university account

Resolution

1. Click the link to the Google Document within D2L
2. In the Google sign in prompt, enter your USD email address and password
   Note: If you receive a message that you do not have permission to access the files, you will need to sign into googleapps.usd.edu with your USD account before accessing the Google Document within D2L
3.  If you have not setup the account, go to Account Activation- Setting up USD Account
