Setting Up iPad For Facilities Employee

How do I set up the iPad I was assigned

Environment

• iPad
• WebTMA

Cause

Employee is assigned a Facilities Management iPad

Resolution

The following are automatically installed using Jamf on the facilities iPads
Note: An Apple ID should not be setup on these devices

• Outlook
• WebTMA Go
• Chrome Browser
• Excel
• Shortcut to FM Sharepoint 

Facilities Employees follow these steps 
Note: An Apple ID should not be setup on these devices

1. Tap English
2. Tap United States
3. Tap Set Up Manually
4. Tap Eduroam
   1. Enter your username@usd.edu
   2. Enter your Password
   3. Tap Join
   4. Tap Trust
5. Tap Next - Remote Management
6. Tap Setup Touch ID Later
7. Tap Don't use
8. Tap Passcode Options and choose your preference
   1. Enter Code of Choice
   2. Enter Code of Choice again to confirm
9. Tap Continue - Appearance 
10. Tap Get Started - Welcome to iPad
11. Tap Settings
    1. Tap About
    2. Tap Name
    3. Tap next to ipad
    4. Type Asset Tag Number - NIxxxxx (xxxxx = numbers on asset tag)
    5. Tap Done
12. Power iPad Off
13. Power iPad On
14. Enter Code chosen in step 8
15. Tap Settings
16. Tap WiFi
17. Tap Eduroam
18. Tap Continue - USD Enabling Network Access
19. Press Home button after Browser Screen changes to home page
20. Slide Screen to the Left
21. Tap Self Service
    • Tap Allow
    • Tap Continue - Self Service
22. Tap Install - Microsoft Outlook (may already be installed)
23. Tap Install - WebTMA Go
24. Press home button
25. Tap Outlook
    1. Enter your Email Address
    2. Tap Add Account
    3. Enter your email Password
    4. Tap Sign on
    5. Tap DUO Authentication of your choice
    6. Approve DUO on your DUO device
    7. Tap Maybe Later - Add Another Account
26. Press home button
27. Tap WebTMA Go
    1. Enter your USD Username (First.Last) for Login ID
    2. Enter your USD Password for Password
    3. Enter USD for Client
    4. Select Options
    5. URL should be https://www.webtma.net
