Printer is printing random characters

Printer is printing extra pages with error messages

Printer displays an error

Error: 46.FF04, Error, Turn Off Then On

Error: POST /ipp/printer HTTP1.1 Content-Length: 179 Content-Type: application/ipp HOST: localhost

• HP Laserjet  printer

Cause

The firmware on the printer needs to be updated

Resolution

• Update the firmware on the printer
