Unable to Reserve Equipment Due to Hold on Account

Issue/Question

I need to reserve equipment but there is a hold on my account

Environment

  • CHEQROOM
  • ServiceDesk

Cause

Equipment reservations that are 24 hours past the scheduled return time will result in a hold on the customer account

Resolution

Note: Review the checkout policy

  1. Checkout privileges will be revoked:
    1. First instance 30 days if equipment is not returned within 24 hours of scheduled return
    2. The second instance results in 60 days revoked
    3. The third instance is 90 days revoked
  2. Privileges are permanently revoked if equipment is not returned within 5 business days
    Note: This also applies if abusing the recurring reservation policy
