Issue Attaching PDF to Email in Adobe Acrobat

Issue/Question

When I click Send as attachment for a PDF it does not open Outlook to send it.

The Attach to Email Option in Adobe Acrobat is not working.

Environment

  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Windows

Cause

The installed version of Adobe Acrobat needs updates

Resolution

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat
  2. Click Help
  3. Click Check for updates
  4. Click Download and Install
  5. Close Adobe Acrobat
  6. Click Retry
    Note: If you see the User Access Control prompt, click Yes
  7. Click Close
