Office Programs Not Responding

Issue/Question

Excel has been crashing and not responding

Excel files will not open

Word keeps crashing

Error: Microsoft Office cannot verify the license for this product. You should repair the Office program by using Control Panel.

Environment

  • Office 365
  • Excel

Resolution

  1. Restart the computer
  2. If problem still exists
    1. Uninstall current Office
    2. Install Office 365
