Setting up USB-C Docking Station

Issue/Question

How do I connect my laptop to a docking station

Environment

• Laptop
• USB-C docking station

Cause

Laptop dock is not set up

Resolution

1. Connect monitor video cable to dock
2. Connect mouse and keyboard cables to dock
   Note: If using wireless mouse/keyboard plug USB receiver into either dock or laptop
3. Connect other peripherals to dock
4. Plug dock power cord into wall power recepticle
5. Connect laptop to dock with USB-C cable
   Note: Laptop can be powered on/off using power button on dock
